Fabulous Finds!

Hello all!  Yesterday I shared a sneak peek of some of the back-to-school things I found while shopping for anything but back-to-school.  :)

Today I wanted to share them in more detail.  Everything shown was just $1.00 each!

These are cardboard star trays that I'll use for turning in "3-star" work.  They are the perfect size for 8 1/2 x 11 paper.  Star Stickers in packs of over 600 for $1.00!  The rubber stamp says "Awesome!"  (a word that I use all the time!) and it also has stars on it for stamping "3-Star" work!

Mini erasers in the shapes of stars, frogs, & hearts to use as manipulatives in our Debbie Diller style Math WorkStations.

Alphabet & number puzzles that I'm going to add to our choices for "Waiting Work".

I love using mini buckets for all sorts of things - sharpened/unsharpened pencils, namesticks, activity sticks, song sticks, crayons, etc.  I love these colors!

Foam hand shapes and "High Five" bookmarks with a monkey on them (I love monkeys!).  I haven't decided what I'm going to use the foam hands for, yet, but I have a few ideas I'm toying with.

These are plastic multi-pocket file folders in turquoise & bright pink.  I think I might use these as organizers in my new Thirty-one organizing utility bag.  I ordered it last week and can't wait for it to get here!

Mini pocket chart in purple.  I love mini pocket charts and use them in many different ways.  I already have them in red, blue, and green.  Now I have four different colors & this will help for organization at centers (each child will get their own color & I can now color-coordinate their other materials.)

And last but not least - a dry-erase speech bubble and dry-erase markers (2/$1.00)!  A few ideas I have for this are to display our graphing question of the day, number of the day, letters/sight words of the week...hmmm...so many possibilities!

That's all for now.  I'm off to run errands and then it's my son's all star baseball game tonight.  He's the starting pitcher - I'm not nervous for him at all (if I keep telling myself that, it might actually be true!) Aaahhh! :\

Take care,
